I already had a thin, hidden double eyelid, so I had a thicker double eyelid and an epicanthoplasty done. I was scared it might end up being too excessive, so I kept stressing that I wanted it natural, and as a result it didn’t change all that much. At first I was satisfied, but there’s a lingering regret that maybe I should have gone more glamorous... At other places, they apparently keep asking you to open your eyes while they pinch them, but at my surgery I was only asked once to open my eyes. Maybe because of that, when I look at it now, the crease thickness is the same when my eyes are closed, but in practice, when my eyes are open, there’s a slight difference in thickness depending on how much skin covers the eyes and on the force pulling from the eyebrows... It felt like factory-style surgery, so that was a little disappointing. The nurses were kind, and the facilities were good.
