Pros None. Does having a review-posting event mean they give a discount? Cons I went because one eye had severe ptosis, and I said I didn’t like overall high crease lines, but whether they couldn’t understand my needs at all or simply didn’t try, they set the crease high anyway. Once I saw that line, it was so awful that my will to have surgery completely disappeared... I said I wanted a low crease, but even the director said he liked higher ones. The surgeon also ignored my input completely and set it high, so I was scared they’d do something wrong. My impression The consultation didn’t even last 10 minutes... From my perspective, the overall consultation felt insincere. It didn’t feel like a real back-and-forth conversation; they seemed to talk only about their own view and not listen to me. The consultant was nice, so I went into the surgeon consultation in a good mood, but I came out deflated... Because I had thought going to a clinic would improve things, but then I wondered if all clinics are this careless and if I need to be reborn... It was evening, and my appetite just dropped. To get to the point, when I said I came because of asymmetrical eyes, they told me everyone has asymmetry and not to think it would be dramatically improved. The whole consultation time was spent arguing over whether my asymmetry was severe or not. They said I should expect only a little improvement, but that was exactly what I had said...? It felt like they just wanted to say my eyes were too complicated and difficult to operate on...? The consultation was perfunctory. They didn’t understand my needs at all... At the beginning they marked the line and let me look at it to judge for themselves, but there was no conversation about what kind of line would suit me, or about the height or shape. When I asked when they would tell me what line height and shape they’d choose, they said they’d tell me on the day of surgery. Huh? I need to know now to decide whether to go through with it... I had no idea what they meant... When I asked about line height, they said they’d match the bigger eye in the asymmetrical pair... My left eye’s levator strength is weaker, but they were going to use an even bigger line? When I asked whether a smaller line would be easier for lifting the eye, they only then said yes. They said they’d match the smaller eye’s line. Since I didn’t want a high line, they said they’d either follow a lower line or make a new one. It would have been nice if they had said this from the start, but they looked like they wanted to finish the consultation quickly and go, and only answered reluctantly when I asked. They even left in the middle of talking, so I asked the consultant, “Does the surgeon have something urgent?” and she said, “If you’ve already had a 10-minute consultation, that’s a lot lol.” Using a toothpick to scratch the desk while talking and then using that to mark my eye line also felt unhygienic. I consulted with Director Lee Min-cheol, and I thought about going back to consult the head director, but I didn’t go. I went there because the online reviews were good, but I left with only disappointment... At this point, I’m suspicious of the online reviews.
