The consultation ended in 3 minutes, and I was recommended incision, front canthoplasty, and ptosis correction. The doctor made small talk too and the line he drew was natural. He explained that my eyes were difficult for double-eyelid surgery and even drew pictures to show me, and I already knew I needed front canthoplasty and an incision. But at the consultation I didn't know about ptosis correction, and while talking with the manager I heard that it was incision, ptosis correction, and front canthoplasty, and that ptosis correction isn't about the strength of opening the eyes but about making the pupils show better. But my eye-opening strength is really good..? They're not sleepy-looking eyes either. Yet once they realized I had a negative view of ptosis correction, they said things like, 'Other clinics will probably tell you to get ptosis correction too~?' and, not being an ophthalmologist, suddenly said my eye-opening strength was a little weak lol. The manager acting like this was ridiculous... I felt like I was being gaslit and decided I didn't want to do it here. It was the first clinic I went to, so I'll look around other places too, but the doctor did say there was no pressure and told me to be sure to look around other clinics as well. Anyway, I won't do it here.
