Review of a revision eyelid consultation I had double-eyid surgery with buried sutures three years ago, but the line came undone, so I visited several clinics known for revision surgery. Most recommend incision surgery when you say you want to recreate a loosened line, but at [Clinic A], the doctor examined my eyelids and carefully explained why the line had loosened and how the surgical plan would differ between non-incisional adhesion and incision surgery. They also clearly explained the cause of the loosening and why other clinics had recommended incision surgery. In the end, I decided to have revision surgery with non-incisional adhesion, plus eyelid ptosis correction and medial canthoplasty. The doctor has a good aesthetic sense and examined my eyes carefully, so I feel this revision will last a long time.
