I went in for a consultation about autologous costal cartilage nose surgery, wanting to finish my first surgery well without needing a revision. I'm not a snub nose case, but compared to my forehead and chin tip, my nose is short, and they caught that, saying the proportions need to be balanced. They said a donor rib isn't necessary for my nose and suggested considering donated rib cartilage instead... Of course there seem to be pros and cons, and the cost difference is also there, so I'm torn.
