I came in to have the twisted, overly long silicone in my nose removed. The tip may lift after removal, so they plan to reinforce it with the remaining ear cartilage and septal cartilage. But if there is inflammation, they said they can only remove it and cannot do any other procedure. They also said that if there is inflammation, the added tissue will melt, so they recommended reoperation later.
