I went in for a consultation about revision after outer/lower canthoplasty. Both the doctor and the manager answered all my many questions well, although I did get scolded for asking the same thing twice. When I said after the consultation that there was something I hadn’t been able to ask the doctor, they made me wait a bit and then I was able to consult again right away, which was nice. They said I’d come from far away, so they arranged two consultations for me. They seemed kind. However, at other revision clinics they all advised against reversal, but here they said they would do it, which left me with doubts.. I wondered if it was because the doctor is that skilled.. They said they would close the slightly opened area at the outer corner of my eye, but since it could get smaller than my original eye... when I asked, “Could it end up with a tighter feeling again?” they said it could or could not; when I asked, “Can it be fully adhered to the eyeball?” they said if it were fully adhered to the eyeball like the original eye, it would get too small; when I asked, “Could it become smaller than my original eye?” they said it could or could not, and I got a lot of vague answers like that, so I’m left disappointed and will probably hold offㅠㅠ They said the decision on whether to do full reversal or partial reversal, and whether to fix it tightly or not, would be made on the day of surgery during the design stage. Please keep that in mind!!
