It seems like they prefer using silicone. I didn't want silicone, but they recommended it, saying isn't this something you're doing because you want to look nice aesthetically? Blackly, it would probably be good for people with low noses who want to raise them. My goal isn't to shave down a hump, so I didn't do it.
