There are a lot of people who don't recommend alar base reduction, but I don't know why. I truly recommend it. However, you'll be very satisfied only if you really need alar base reduction. I had severe hollowing beside my nose, and I often heard that I looked tired, so it was a complex for me, which is why I got it done. At the first consultation, the director said I was a case that needed both alar base reduction and nasolabial angle surgery, but I was scared, so at first I only had the alar base reduction. But they said if I was only going to do the alar base reduction, they couldn't insert a very large implant there (if the philtrum hollowing isn't corrected at the same time, only the alar base area can look even more prominent), so at first I had surgery with a 6 mm implant. Afterward I was very satisfied, but it felt like it was slightly undercorrected, so I had revision surgery and did both the alar base reduction and nasolabial angle correction again. The nasolabial angle surgery was newly done, and the alar base implant was reinserted with a slightly larger one. The two together cost 2,000,000 won. I am really satisfied with the result. Honestly, I regretted it at first after the revision surgery because before the swelling had gone down, I really looked like a monkey. But it seems like it takes at least a year for even the small swelling to fully go down. It's been about 2 years now, and it is really pretty now, and I look so much younger. I look younger now.
