I wanted a secondary canthoplasty, but they talked me out of it. The reason was that I don't have enough excess skin right now. There is normally a consultation fee, but since I wasn't a surgical candidate, they didn't charge me. It didn't seem like such a tiny canthal widening would be possible as I had imagined. Even a secondary canthoplasty is, strictly speaking, a surgery, so it seems like the downsides would be greater than the benefits in my case. A hospital that honestly talked me out of it, and I'm grateful for that.
