After getting double-eyelid surgery with canthoplasty, I became so much prettier that I thought, wow, this really transformed me. My nose was fine because I had a decent bridge and wasn't bulbous, but my eyes were so small. I couldn't carry that insecurity around for the rest of my life, so I worked up the courage to have surgery.... Now I understand why so many people get this combination. The eyes I had always dreamed of were large, with the outer corners slanting downward. Not completely puppy-like, but a slightly gentler-looking style.
