Dr. Kim Deok-jung Of the three clinics I visited, the consultation here was the longest. But even though it was a nose-surgery consultation, they didn't take a CT or even a photo and just looked with the naked eye... When I asked why they weren't taking a CT, he said he doesn't take one unless it's a revision surgery. He said you can roughly tell the size of the septum, but whether the septum can be fully used or not can only be known after opening it up, so somehow it felt not very professional and kind of vague He quoted a total of 5.5 million won for silicone on the nasal bridge + cartilage suturing + septum cartilage, ear cartilage + donated costal cartilage + nostril reduction (I can't properly remember whether he said he would do this or not). My surgery was scheduled right after the CSAT, so when I asked if there were any CSAT events, he said if I write a review on ㄱㄴㅇㄴ ㅂㅂㅌ with only the nose visible and do three follow-up photos, he could bring it down to 4.5 million won. The doctor was kind and explained well while drawing diagrams. He said the CCTV can be checked. He was the only clinic that said I didn't need to lower the nasal base. He said if I did it, it would actually make it look even more flat and broad. Sigh... but I don't know. The doctor was kind and nice, but not taking a CT and immediately saying to use costal cartilage because the septum would be small felt a bit off. At other clinics, when they took CTs of both, they said the septum was larger than what the outside of the nose suggested; at one clinic, after feeling it, they said that with that level of strength, costal cartilage wouldn't be necessary. But here they didn't even feel it or look at a CT, so I guess I don't trust it. The quoted price was just something arbitrary.
