Consultation and surgery on the same day. There was a misunderstanding with the coordinator's schedule, so it was a morning consultation but I waited until the afternoon and had surgery late (the coordinator didn't apologize, but the director did). The schedule got delayed a bit, so it felt like I had surgery without really being able to consult properly. The surgery was harder than I expected. There was so much bruising rather than swelling that I couldn't go outside. The bruises only barely faded after two weeks. After about a month, people started saying I looked prettier. At the 3-month check, I had a CT and everything was attached well with no nonunion. The hospital is smaller than I expected. The director is kind and explains things well. The new coordinator is kind.
