I first learned about Director Kang Eun-taek when I saw him appear with another hospital director on Before and After in the Rain, and after searching him up I found out the hospital was pretty well known for a naturally looking result, so I went for a consultation. First, I liked that during the consultation they checked my septum with a tool that could look inside the nose and with a headlamp. Their suggestion to leave part of the hump instead of shaving it all down was exactly the direction I had in mind. Other hospitals also recommended osteotomy a lot, but he said if I did it, my bridge was already thin and would become even thinner, which would look strange. The final surgery plan was correction of the upper lateral cartilage bend + raising the tip slightly by building a columellar strut with ear cartilage + leaving a little hump and making it into a straight line. I liked the surgery plan, and I also liked that an anesthesiologist was on site and that they really prioritize safety, but after reading reviews, it seems like they make the nose into a cute style with a somewhat high nasolabial angle and barely lower the columella, so it might not suit men well. I'm still deciding until the end.
