I got a consultation with Director Yoon Young-mok. I came in asking about revision surgery because my double eyelid line had gotten smaller, but he said my issue wasn’t that the double eyelid had shrunk; it was that my eyebrows had drooped and the double eyelid skin was being covered, making it look smaller.. It was shocking because I had never heard that from another hospital before. He explained brow lift surgery in detail, and I did think, ah... so the problem isn’t the double eyelid, it’s that the eyelid skin has come down because of age.. But a brow lift is something I had never even considered, so I’m thinking a lot about it. I’m worried about side effects too.. He didn’t recommend any unnecessary surgery and only gave me a solution that fit my exact situation.
