Even before surgery, they explained that because of the muscle it wouldn’t go in completely, so I was fine with that. For about 6 months after surgery, I had no sensation under my chin, but it didn’t bother me much. The scar under my chin is about 1 cm, but it’s in a place that’s not really visible, so I don’t mind it, and it has faded a lot.
