I had surgery with Dr. Hong Soo-jung. When I consulted at other clinics, they usually recommended doing canthoplasty together, so I was confused about whether canthoplasty would really make things better. The doctor explained that my eyes were already fairly large, so double-eyelid surgery alone would be sufficient. They said canthoplasty could be done if I wanted, but they would not specifically recommend it, and I liked that because I had not originally been considering canthoplasty.
