As soon as I walked into the hospital, I thought I had come to the wrong place.. It was dark and dingy and didn’t look like a plastic surgery clinic at all I had a reservation, but I spent almost 40 minutes consulting only with the consultant, and because the director was in surgery, I waited about 1 hour and 45 minutes past my reservation time, only to have the actual consultation with the director last less than 10 minutes. And they still charged a 10,000 won consultation fee. They didn’t take a CT, and they didn’t even feel my nose or use a cotton swab to stretch it; they just consulted by looking at the outside appearance. The director was very authoritarian, and this was the only place among the hospitals I consulted that brought up alloderm, so I didn’t make a surgery reservation.
