I went in thinking about a raised tip nose, but I'm not sure if my nose was unsuitable for it; the consultation focused on a bean-curved nose. Even when I mentioned the raised tip nose, they pushed me toward a bean-curved nose, saying it wouldn't be very effective for me. At other hospitals, every time I got a CT, no one mentioned a deviated septum, and I even heard that it was the first time they'd seen such a perfectly symmetrical septum, but this doctor said I needed septal correction, which was confusing. I'm not sure whether they were thinking that because they looked inside my nose with an endoscope as well as at the CT, but it felt a little uncomfortable, like they were just trying to steer me toward something covered by insurance. Anyway, people interested in a raised tip nose should know their own nose may not be suitable, and I think only people who can also be open to a bean-curved nose should go.
