The doctor isn't especially gentle, but his confident and bold manner gave me trust, and although it wasn't perfectly symmetrical, the surgery was finished in a fairly natural way. The staff were all so incredibly kind that after the surgery I wanted to buy dessert and bring it over for them. Since the incision was behind the ear, I don't think it hurt more than in the mouth, and it was bearable. However, my mouth didn't open well for about two months, which was hard, and I had no sensation in my ear for about half a year. Overall I'm satisfied, but if I could do it again, I think I'd remove a bit more aggressively!
