I was recommended non-incisional ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty. When I asked about concerns such as complications from ptosis correction, they said non-incisional correction is almost like a procedure and has very few complications. I wondered whether it was really appropriate to describe it so lightly. Still, they didn’t pressure me and gave an honest recommendation, which I appreciated. I’m not sure whether it was a communication gap or a difference in aesthetic preferences, but the consultation didn’t feel easy. The coordinator gave no guidance beyond answering my questions, which was confusing, although they were kind and did not pressure me.
