The director gets angry at patients. Their own mood is none of my business, so I don’t understand why they can’t control themselves and take it out on patients. It’s not like I asked something I shouldn’t have been able to ask. The person called the manager was also not speaking with even a minimum sense of responsibility, and their conduct was extremely rude. I don’t even expect kindness. At the very least, don’t be rude. They probably don’t even realize they’re being rude themselves. From the way they talked, it seemed like they take pride in their position. In the end, both the director and the manager were far too rude in their behavior. And they kept muttering answers while looking awkward every time I said something that was objectively correct, and they didn’t admit even one thing the hospital had done wrong. They were desperately trying to come up with excuses that didn’t make sense, and when I asked inconvenient questions they wouldn’t answer at all. Watching that, I felt so sorry for them that I could hardly stand it. Maybe because it’s a regional hospital and the biggest one in Daejeon, but it was really my first time seeing a place like this and it left a deep impression. I think they lack a certain level of professionalism, or even basic humanity, not just in surgery but in any field. They don’t seem interested in listening and judging rationally, and they seem busy only blaming the patient, so I’m glad I didn’t get surgery here. If something went wrong and they treated me like they knew nothing about it, that would have been even harder.
