The doctor was kind, but the desk staff were loudly chatting among themselves regardless of whether someone was sitting in front of them, and the consultation director didn’t proactively mention things I was probably curious about or explain anything about the surgery first. It felt like they only answered the questions I asked, quickly, and were just waiting for my questions. It seemed like they wanted to finish the consultation fast. The doctor was kind and fine, but I didn’t like the staff, and I started wondering whether aftercare would really be good.
