* First surgery: 5 mm silicone + ear cartilage at the tip + ear-cartilage support -> Silicone removal, Megaderm, removal of the cartilage placed at the tip I had it removed five years after my nose surgery. I removed the high silicone and the ear cartilage used to raise the tip, but left the support in place. Because my hump had been shaved down substantially during the first surgery, the director recommended Megaderm. I could not decide whether to use it, so we agreed to decide during surgery after seeing the situation! The surgery seemed to finish faster than expected, but it was a little scary because I was awake during it. Still, communicating with the director from time to time gradually reassured me. After surgery, the coordinator showed me several photos taken during the operation. I had been used to a high nose for several years and worried that suddenly having a lower nose might cause a great sense of loss. But after the removal, the shape was better than expected, and I was even happier that the anxiety I had constantly felt because of my nose disappeared..! I wondered whether Megaderm would make my nose too blunt, but after it was absorbed to some extent, it looked natural, like my own nose, so I think it was just right. It looks different from my original nose, but there is no unevenness on the bridge and no step either. I hope I can keep this nose without needing revision surgery again
