About 10 years ago? When I was really young, I secretly had nose tip and septum surgery, but my mom found out + my nose was so swollen and puffy that I thought it had failed, so I eventually went for a consultation about removal. It had only been 1 or 2 weeks since the surgery, but they grabbed my nose and twisted and pressed it. I remember hearing a slight crack, and it made me very uncomfortable + they said I could have it removed right away. At another hospital, they said there was still swelling and I should wait 6 months, and once 6 months had passed, I was fine, so I just kept it without removing it. At the time, it felt like they were speaking too aggressively because they wanted to make money. It was a really long time ago, so just ignore the estimate.
