After lateral canthoplasty, I developed severe conjunctival exposure and extremely thick scar tissue. It cannot be covered with makeup, so it caused me a lot of stress. I was told the scar tissue could only be removed through restoration, so I paid a lot for lateral canthoplasty restoration. This time, however, my two eyes ended up different in size. Even after only the lateral canthoplasty they looked slightly different, but this time the difference was severe enough to notice immediately, so I eventually underwent secondary canthoplasty as well. Fortunately, after the secondary canthoplasty, both sides look symmetrical. At first I was unsure, but thankfully they became fine, perhaps because it was swelling. My eyes are larger than after the restoration, so they do not seem very different from when I first had the canthoplasty. The difference is that there is no scar tissue now. I also had lower canthoplasty to enlarge my eyes as much as possible, and lowered the outer corners in a straight line, so I no longer look as if I am frowning. It has now been two months. I recently went back for a follow-up, and the director personally checked in detail whether I had any pain, liked the shape, or had anything else bothering me. I am satisfied with my eyes now, so there was nothing particular to say. If there had still been swelling, I would have received care as well, but that was not the case, so I probably will not go next month. There seem to be very few places that are better at secondary canthoplasty than ordinary canthoplasty clinics, so I struggled for a long time. When my older sister saw how difficult it was for me, she helped me search, and by chance found a review of this place on YouTube. She said the person’s eyes looked exactly like mine, so I checked it out, and it was the real deal. That is why I went for a consultation. The director said symmetry could be corrected, but the size could not necessarily be increased, since it depends on the condition of the eyes. After checking, they would open them as much as possible. I asked them to include lower canthoplasty and make my eyes look as large as possible. At the one-month follow-up after surgery, they fortunately said everything looked fine and asked whether I liked my eyes. At that point, I thought my eyes were even larger than expected, which made me very happy. People around me also praised the result, so I am satisfied.
