I went to consult from Japan because I heard they specialize in noses and are good at correcting contracted noses. But although they said a Japanese interpreter was permanently stationed there, it seems they probably send someone from outside when a Japanese patient comes. That person probably didn’t know detailed hospital information and seemed to only be handling interpretation; they didn’t seem able to do difficult translations of detailed plastic surgery terminology. There are still concerns about communication here. Also, I’ve heard bad rumors on Twitter and elsewhere, so although the proposed plan was fairly good, I still have some unease.
