About 8 months after my surgery, my eyes kept getting itchy and swollen, so I went to the hospital. The doctor who did my surgery had quit, so another doctor came to see me and said he wasn't really sure why this was happening, looked at me for 1 minute, and left. My eyes suddenly got extremely swollen, so I sent photos and said they were really itchy, but they told me consultation hours are fixed to once a week and to come back next time? It was itchy to the point of pain.. I was wondering if this was really right, so I complained on the phone, and only then did they tell me to come in... The surgery result itself is okay, but the aftercare is terrible. The coordinator kept repeating, "There's nothing we can do for you," and was very meticulous about pointing out that if I get a revision surgery, the anesthesia fee is separate lol. They just told me to go to a neighborhood ophthalmology clinic and said they don't know either.. They made it obvious they really didn't want to do even one thing, which upset me. They tried to soothe me by saying they themselves had surgery too and had to endure itching, and that it would get better when winter comes? At least say what plan you do have, seriously no sense of responsibility.. I understand side effects can happen after surgery, but I'm wondering if this is really how they should handle it. It feels like they only look at double eyelids and not the eyes themselves, and if the surgery goes wrong with the eyes, they seem like they'd just tell you to go to a university hospital and figure it out yourself. My eyes had always been healthy and fine, but since the surgery I still get tiny eye discharge, and they're dry and itchy. Because my eye condition is bad, my vision is also getting slightly worse. I thought the main side effects were things like not being able to close the eyes, everted eyelids, and sausage shape, but I'm realizing this kind of side effect exists too. The doctor had quit the previous hospital, appeared on this hospital's YouTube, and was the representative director, so I thought he wouldn't leave, but he quit this hospital too. I saw a video on YouTube about how he successfully moved to another hospital, and that reminded me, so I'm writing this review.
