I had the Wonder Canthoplasty on October 8. Up until now, I had never really thought my eyes were short horizontally, but while watching makeup videos on YouTube I realized my eyes were short, and when I searched for lateral canthoplasty I found the Wonder Canthoplasty at AnSwer Plastic Surgery. My inner corners were opened very widely, so the outer side felt a bit tight and the eye tails looked lifted, making my expression seem sharp, so I became more interested in the Wonder Canthoplasty, which combines lateral canthoplasty and lowering the outer eye corners. I was told it could be done under local anesthesia and recovery was fast, so because of work I didn’t even look into other places. The date I wanted was during a holiday period, so I put down the surgery deposit first, went to the consultation, and had the surgery soon after. The surgery took exactly 30 minutes, and I’ve always been someone who doesn’t swell much, but I really barely swelled at all. I took two days of leave around the weekend and holiday and rested for 5 days, and honestly the swelling and signs of surgery were so minimal it felt like a waste to have taken time off. Especially the stitch marks were almost invisible, to the point that no one would know unless I said something, so I think even having surgery on Friday and resting only over the weekend would be fine. When I removed the stitches and checked the progress, they said my horizontal length went from 2.5 cm to 2.8 cm, and I’m satisfied. Other people may not notice much of a difference, but to me my eyes are clearly a little more open and the outer corners came down, so my expression feels a bit softer too.
