*Had lateral canthoplasty several years ago (don’t remember the surgery cost well) Both eyes also had different corner heights and lengths, so I had revision surgery, and I regret it ㅠ At the time, one side was longer, so they should have adjusted the length to match that, but instead they cut one side even more, and in the end I got scarring and ugliness too.. They said they would just suture the length on one side again (not reversal), so I had another revision surgery, but the eyeball still doesn’t fit snugly and I only got more scarring ㅠ The skin at the outer corner doesn’t sit flush against the eyeball and is floating. I guess you could say it’s everted outward (for reference, I do not have bulging eyes) I already had dry eye, but because my eyes don’t close normally, daily life is truly hardㅠ * Response from the clinic They apologized for how things turned out and said they could suture it more if I wanted, but honestly it wasn’t reversal, just cutting and suturing it again, so I don’t think getting more done there would make it normal. If I have the money, I’ll look for another hospital, but the eye eversion is just so stressfulㅠ For reference, I also had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery here, and the line thickness is uneven^^ Left eye is an inner double; right eye is an in-out line; I really wonder if lateral canthoplasty has ever actually succeeded for anyone
