*Had lateral canthoplasty several years ago (don’t remember the surgery cost well) Both eyes also had different corner heights and lengths, so I had revision surgery, and I regret it At the time, one side was longer, so they should have adjusted the length to match that, but instead they cut one side even more, and in the end I got scarring and ugliness too.. They said they would just suture the length on one side again (not reversal), so I had another revision surgery, but the eyeball still doesn’t fit snugly and I only got more scarring The skin at the outer corner doesn’t sit flush against the eyeball and is floating. I guess you could say it’s everted outward (for reference, I do not have bulging eyes) I already had dry eye, but because my eyes don’t close normally, daily life is truly hard * Response from the clinic They apologized for how things turned out and said they could suture it more if I wanted, but honestly it wasn’t reversal, just cutting and suturing it again, so I don’t think getting more done there would make it normal. If I have the money, I’ll look for another hospital, but the eye eversion is just so stressful For reference, I also had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery here, and the line thickness is uneven^^ Left eye is an inner double; right eye is an in-out line; I really wonder if lateral canthoplasty has ever actually succeeded for anyone
