I had it done without using costal cartilage, using the septum and ear cartilage, It twisted after the first surgery, so they did a quick AS revision right away. The line came out beautifully, and three years later, when I went to another clinic for a consultation because the tip was showing, more than half of them said the line was pretty and told me not to have revision surgery! If you like a thin, glamorous line, I recommend it. I personally liked a rounder feel
