Out of the 6 hospitals I visited, this was the only one that recommended both eye correction and upper canthoplasty. The common opinion from the hospitals was that my eye-opening strength was good, but since my eyes are uneven, they said I needed eye correction because of the smaller eye (but isn’t everyone’s face a little uneven..? And the smaller eye is supposed to have a more upturned outer corner anyway, but they totally just beat up my smaller eye..) And they said a semi-out line absolutely needs upper canthoplasty. My eyes are already close together and my eyebrows are close to my eyesㅠ On top of that, every other hospital said to do it without an incision, but here they were the only ones saying the outer part of the eye had to be partly incised to remove the extra skin that had 늘어난다고 (?) They drew an in-out line and told me to see whether the line looked thick or thin, but I got flustered because I didn’t know what 기준 to compare it to.. They said to look at it based on the middle reference. After drawing the in-out line, they lifted it toward the upper front of the eye to show me a semi-out line. They said if I do lower outer canthoplasty plus lower eyelid fat repositioning, the lower outer canthoplasty will loosen, so they should be done together, but they said I need stage 1 lower eyelid fat repositioning. They showed me surgical cases, but only two double-eyelid + canthoplasty cases and one lower eyelid fat repositioning case. When I asked to see more photos, they said they didn’t have any. It seemed like they were only showing the two best results. The surgical case was labeled as 1 month post-op, but there was almost no swelling, so when I asked, they said it was actually a 3-month photo and they hadn’t corrected the label. They didn’t crop the photos to just the eyes, but showed them from almost the whole face, so I ended up seeing the model’s face a bit.. I felt weird thinking that if I provide photos, they might show my whole face like that too. The surgical cases they showed were all good and matched my preferred look, but because of the overly high estimate by my standards + seeing part of the model’s face because the photo wasn’t cropped + it said 1 month post-op when it was actually 3 months + it seemed like they were only showing the best cases instead of multiple cases, I decided not to have surgery hereㅠㅠ
