I had double-chin platysma muscle suturing plus liposuction, but honestly the difference before and after is barely noticeable. If my condition was such that it was difficult to expect more change than this, should the clinic not have recommended surgery in the first place? In the end, there is almost no visible improvement, but only a pronounced scar remains, and my stress about my double chin has actually become worse than before surgery. They now say that the part that cannot be further reduced is due to skin laxity and salivary glands, but the shape of my double chin is almost the same now as before surgery. If so, could they not have determined to some extent before surgery that there was little that could be improved by fat or muscle treatment and that salivary glands had a major effect? If that were the case, they should not have recommended liposuction or muscle suturing from the beginning. They should have accurately explained that the changes to expect from this surgery were limited and advised me to look into salivary gland removal. Before surgery, they explained it as though the effect would be good, but when there was no change after surgery, they now say it is because of the salivary glands. I simply cannot understand that. All I can think is that I wasted money and time and was left with a scar.
