It's been just under a month since I had breast surgery through the armpit incision, and I ended up paying a lot more attention to the armpit area than I expected. For the first few days, I felt a pulling sensation when I moved my arms a lot, so I moved slowly even when tying my hair or changing clothes, and even while sleeping I kept worrying about my arm position. But after a few days, movement became much more comfortable, and now raising my arms feels more natural than before. Since it was an armpit incision, I wonder how much of a scar will be left.
