I had a consultation with the chief director, and overall it was quite far from what I had expected. More than anything, the way they spoke was too blunt and felt somewhat rude, so I was not comfortable throughout the consultation. Honest explanations are important, but I wish they had used wording that was a bit more considerate of the patient's position. The consultation fee was 20,000 won, so it was not cheap, and I went in with expectations, but the value for money was low. Rather than feeling that they empathized enough or explained things in detail when I had questions, it felt like they were speaking one-sidedly, which was disappointing. After the consultation, my desire to have surgery there disappeared, and because I did not gain any trust, I felt it would be better to look for another hospital. Personally, I would not visit again.
