I had surgery with silicone and ear cartilage in 2016 or 2017, but within a year my nose bent to the side. It was not a slight change either; the silicone had literally rotated sideways and the columella was tilted so noticeably that other people even pointed it out and talked about it. I went back for a follow-up consultation, but instead of giving any guidance about revision surgery or what to do, they only told me that it was just my body type and that the surgery had been done normally, refusing to acknowledge anything. In the end I had revision surgery somewhere else right away. At the very least, I think they should have acknowledged the complication and explained revision surgery, so their response was extremely baffling. I also wondered whether it was because I was still in high school at the time.
