I had my first nose surgery without an implant 2 years ago. I was uncomfortable with implants, so I had it done with ear cartilage instead of silicone. But during the first consultation, they only said they would use ear cartilage, and didn't say they would take cartilage from both sides. Then when I came out after the surgery, both sides of my ear cartilage had been taken. I thought they would only take one side.. In any case, since the cartilage is gone from both sides, I'm worried about a future revision surgery too. And I also have a deviated septum and rhinitis, so I had both the cosmetic and functional parts operated on together, but after the surgery I still don't really know whether my rhinitis improved. Externally, the crookedness of my nose did improve, but recently I got a facial CT at another hospital for a consultation, and they told me the deviated septum was severe and asked again whether I had really had septum surgery. It was the first time I saw my nose condition after the surgery;; And because I had a bulbous nose, I also had surgery for that. They said they ground up the ear cartilage and placed it at the tip of the nostrils? Setting aside the fact that the bulbous nose improvement didn't happen, after surgery the tip of my nose was lifted, so my nostrils show more and the bulbous nose looks even more prominent.. I paid about 1 million won extra for the bulbous nose surgery, but only my nostrils show more and the tip is lifted a little like a pig nose, so if I could turn back time I'd want to have had the surgery at a different hospital.. sigh. I'm planning to get a revision at another hospital soon.
