I thought it would be enough to just make the nose higher, but when I went to the hospital they explained the tip, columella, bridge, and hump one by one while looking at the overall proportions of the face. Before the consultation I thought making it as high as possible was what would look pretty, but the director said that on my face, making it too high could actually look unnatural, so my thinking changed. What I remember most was that they took a side-profile photo in the consultation room and showed it to me. When I usually looked only in the mirror I didn’t notice it, but seeing it in a photo made it obvious that the tip of my nose looked droopy. That’s when I finally understood why I never liked how it looked in photos
