I have a hidden double eyelid and a typical diamond-shaped eye, so both the inner and outer sides are blocked. My eyes feel like the pupils aren’t fully visible, makeup doesn’t show up, and contacts make them look even more stuffy, which has been bothering me. At first I thought that just lateral canthoplasty and lower canthoplasty plus double eyelid surgery would be enough, so I went here for a consultation because I first wanted to address how my gaze looked. But after taking photos and seeing my face on the monitor, I realized it wouldn’t work. The director also said that if I only made a double eyelid, it wouldn’t look clear, and that they would need to design from the inner corner first with medial canthoplasty and upper canthoplasty, then do lateral and lower canthoplasty to open things up and get rid of the cramped-eye feeling. In the end, they said they would remove the stuffy feeling at the inner corner and also make the space between the brows look wider by matching the spacing and proportions in the surgery. They were very honest and also showed me what kind of eye shape I would get if I did it that way. Since my preferred date is available, I’m at the stage of thinking about whether to go ahead with the surgery.
