I had my first double-eyelid surgery with a non-incisional in-out line, but it turned out uneven, and the revision ended up sticking into a D-shape over time. The asymmetry in the double eyelids and the outer canthus revision could not be covered even with makeup, so I was looking for a clinic that could fix both at once, but it wasn’t easy. Still, they said they handle very difficult eyes well, so I went for a consultation. They said the D-shaped adhesion could be corrected with revision, but because the revision scope would be large, the eyes might look smaller, so there was an option to do lower canthoplasty together. For the double eyelids, they said they would do revision surgery with an incision to match the height of the line I wanted, and that no other additional procedures were needed. I felt like I would regret not doing the lower canthoplasty, so I decided to do it together. It’s been about 3 months now, and the end shape is sharp, and I think the lower canthoplasty was especially well done. It comes down in a rounded way, so there’s none of that cramped-looking feeling. The double eyelids also came out the way I wanted, and I was very worried because this was revision surgery, but I’m satisfied that everything got solved at once.
