If the outer corners of the eyes are turned up, the person can look fierce. Even with makeup there was a limit, so I looked for a hospital to lower the outer corners of my eyes, and among the reviews for back canthoplasty, I found a blog review I liked, so I went for a consultation. Unlike reviews where it feels like they simply cut the eyes and made them longer, they shaped the eyes to match each person's original eye shape, and that was why the result looked pretty. The price was about what I expected, so it was not a big burden and did not pose much of a problem in deciding.
