Not having double eyelids can vary from person to person; I always looked droopy, and I used my forehead muscles a lot when opening my eyes, so it seemed like my wrinkles were getting worse. I thought that if this continued, once I entered my thirties I would look almost like a man in his forties, so I decided to have plastic surgery. I heard that people often undergo ptosis correction for eyes like mine, but there were so many clinics when I tried to choose consultation clinics. So I asked my friend and younger sister for clinic recommendations. I narrowed it down to three places whose reviews I liked, received consultations, and had surgery here. Dr. Shin said that my eyes did not have that much fat, but the skin was thick, so I would likely need incisional ptosis correction. They said that even if it is an incision, it does not necessarily look very obvious, so I did not need to be too scared. They also showed me various postoperative photos on the computer, and when the eyes were open or closed, it did not look very different from the non-incisional method, so I chose incisional ptosis correction. I wanted to do it properly in one go, because it should not come undone and require revision surgery. Early after surgery, I worried because of swelling and bruising, but after my stitches were removed, I could feel the swelling gradually going down. It has only been a month, so it is still swollen, but it is better than immediately afterward. One thing for certain is that I use less forehead force. The line is naturally formed without being too thick, which I like, so I will keep monitoring it until all the swelling goes down
