Patient review of Siseon (시선) · 2026-08-27

When I first had the inner corner canthoplasty, I thought, after widening the eyes, they would look clearer? But maybe because the Mongolian fold was still left there, it did not really turn out that way...... How should I put it? It should either have been done cleanly, or not touched at all, but this ended up in an awkward middle ground and maybe made it even weirder....? At first I thought it was just because I was not used to the change, but no, it was just widened in a weird way. So in the end I had a secondary canthoplasty. When I had the revision for the inner corner canthoplasty, I also had an upper canthoplasty at the same time, and in terms of the shape, I think this was the best choice. When I went for the consultation, they said it was because some Mongolian fold was still awkwardly left there, and that if they widened the inner and upper corners together cleanly, I could get the front shape I had originally imagined. I often thought it would be nice if the upper part had a slightly curved shape, and with the upper canthoplasty it becomes like that, so I had two canthoplasty procedures. Since they would be cutting the same area twice, I thought the swelling and bruising would be severe and I would just have to wait a long time for everything, but surprisingly, with the compresses, the swelling itself went down fairly quickly. That does not mean my eyes looked normal after just one month, though. Still, the bruising disappeared after about two weeks, and the swelling seems to have settled after more than two months. They say if you remove too much of the Mongolian fold it looks strange, but here they left an appropriate amount, so it did not look creepy and still gave me refreshing-looking eyes. I made the shape a bit round-pointed. I wanted it to look a little sharper, and they matched my preference exactly lol I see a lot of reviews about the first canthoplasty here, and if I had known earlier, I think I would have had surgery here........ Sad.
