Increasing the double eyelid while removing the scar is a contradictory idea. I was told to come back after choosing one of two options: either raise the line without improving the scar, or loosen the scar line. If the scar line is loosened, the line becomes lower than it is now and will look almost like a monolid, and even if it is loosened, the scar still will not be completely improved. Through ptosis correction, the eye size can be increased, but then it may also look like a monolid, so it might not be pretty. If the line is raised without improving the scar, it would mean cutting the eye open with three incisions, so I was told to think carefully. They said they would treat this as if the consultation never happened, so I should not scratch around my eyes and think carefully (I have atopic dermatitis). This was the hospital I had been most looking forward to, but they basically told me not to do it, so I was really upset. I should have come here during my revision surgery.. Since they did not give me a quote, I put in an arbitrary price.
