First I had a consultation with the counselor, then with the surgeon. The surgeon was professional and calm. At first, while looking at the CT scan together, they photoshopped the shape onto a sample for me so we could see the shape together. At first they didn’t realize it was a removal case and were moving ahead with augmentation, but once I showed them the nose shape I wanted, they understood and immediately switched to a removal plan and adjusted the shape too. Judging by the shape, I liked it. They planned total removal, cartilage repositioning, and reinforcement with Megaderm because the cartilage at the tip needed support. They didn’t show before-and-after photos, but they seemed very confident. They explained things well when I asked, but it felt like they wanted to finish quickly. One of my candidates.
