At first I only wanted to do one side because the double eyelid on one side kept coming undone, but when I actually went for the consultation, I was diagnosed with fairly severe ptosis, so I was told it was an eye that needed both sides done to match. I asked them to remove the under-eye fat because I wanted that done. I originally had a natural double eyelid, and when I went to another hospital, the doctor even tried to stop me, saying that if it were them, they wouldn't touch it because it was naturally a pretty eye, so I begged them to make it look as unnoticeable as possible and had the surgery. I was scared of full incision, so I did buried stitches, and the result is good. The shape of the original double eyelid was preserved, while the eye feels a little more awake. But since it was buried stitches, the thread-knot? shape inside the eyelid was a bit visible from the outside for about two years too It's gradually becoming less noticeable, though... Later, when I get older and my eyes droop again, I'm planning to have buried-stitch revision surgery.
