I went for a consultation about alar reduction, and since it was the first hospital I had consulted, I just asked things like, what should I do with my nose? But they didn't clearly say exactly what needed to be done, and it felt like they really prioritized the patient's opinion, so personally the consultation wasn't very satisfying. I think people who already have a strong opinion would match well with this consultation style. They weren't unfriendly, so as a first consultation it just felt ambiguous. It was hard to come away thinking, yes, I definitely want surgery here.
