This is a review of surgery from 2013, and I was so unhappy with the result that when I revisited three years later, the surgeon who had performed the operation was already gone. They kept sending me ads by KakaoTalk for nose surgery, so at the time I went there without any information, thinking of course they must be smart doctors who had learned a lot and would take care of everything. That was the mistake. During the manager consultation while discussing the nose, they said that what was more urgent than the nose was getting the eyes done because it would improve the overall impression. But during the doctor consultation, they said to shave down the dorsal hump and add Gore-Tex. Now, after becoming someone who knows a lot about revision surgery thanks to this doctor, I think the problem started there. In the end, they raised it by 1 mm, and I thought, if you were only going to raise it by 1 mm, why raise it at all? Did the doctor not know that my midface was already long and that putting something on an already long nose would make it look even longer? Was it for money? That is the conclusion I reached myself. Because I had not even been thinking about my eyes, but after the manager consultation I also had eye consultation with the director, and the director said that if I did not have money, then just do the buried method. The doctor brought up money, so why did I stupidly feel intimidated by this doctor? I should have walked out then, but I put down the deposit and had the surgery. During the surgery, because they used local anesthesia, I was still conscious, and in the middle of surgery they asked, "How many millimeters should we raise it?" They asked me in the middle of the surgery, without having discussed the number of millimeters during the consultation. Does that make any sense? My nose was open and exposed, I could hear a whirring and grinding bone sound from my ears... At that point maybe that was just the doctor's usual tone, but from the consultation onward he spoke in a way that made people feel small: "How many millimeters should we raise it?" I answered, "Please make it soft and in balance with my facial proportions," but after that my mood completely sank and I cried through the whole surgery.. Then he said, "Are you hurt somewhere? Why are you crying if it doesn't hurt? If it doesn't hurt, don't cry." I wanted to say something there, but I was afraid he would take it out on my face and ruin it, so I could not say anything. I really felt stupid. What was the result of the surgery? The eyes did not change at all and instead the asymmetry of my eyes was made much more obvious. The nose? The dorsal hump was barely shaved down, and because I already had a face with some asymmetry, putting Gore-Tex on top of that made the asymmetry stand out even more and turned it into a crooked nose. This director has no aesthetic sense and only thinks about money. I do not know where he is now as a director, but I really want to see his face again.
