I had a consultation with the director because I was thinking about nose surgery. They weren’t exactly kind, but they picked out only the surgeries needed for my nose and explained them by drawing, and I liked that they explained in detail where each thing would go and why my nose looked the way it did. I also work at a hospital, so from the perspective of someone who watches surgeons work right next to them, of course it’s nice when they explain kindly, but kindness and surgical skill are separate things, so I think it’s good to keep that in mind when choosing a hospital :)
