First of all, I went and got a CT scan (there is an additional cost separate from the consultation fee). Until I asked questions, they didn't really explain anything proactively. Even though I said what I wanted, I got the feeling they still wanted to do it their own way. I wanted the silicone removed and no implant, but they recommended silicone again. The doctor didn't mention costal cartilage during the consultation, but the manager said it might be used. I heard about the surgery plan from the manager more than from the doctor. I didn't want functional nose surgery, but after looking at the CT they said my septum was crooked and brought up functional surgery. I knew my septum was bent, but ENT doctors had told me that this degree is normal for everyone and doesn't need surgery, and I don't have any functional breathing problems, so I felt odd that they kept bringing up the septum. Since what the doctor said didn't match what I wanted, I ended the consultation there.
